We offer you, as part of our magnificent circuit, to combine these two destinations so close and yet so different … The Sultanate of Oman, with its beautiful landscapes, its unspoiled and very varied nature, very present traditions, then without transition, Dubai, city of mirages, resolutely turned towards the future and finally Abu Dhabi. A rich and varied program.
Day 1, Monday: Geneva – Muscat
Flight to Muscat (via Zurich and stop in Dubai). Arrival at the airport, then formalities for obtaining your visa. Welcome and transfer with the driver (English speaking). Overnight at your hotel.
Day 2, Tuesday: Cruise and visit Muscat (approx. 75 km)
Breakfast. Transfer to the marina and board a motorboat for a cruise of approx—2h00, which will allow you to admire the cornice of Muscat. Possibility to see dolphins. Then discover the capital of the Sultanate. The Al-AlamPalace, the residence of the Sultan (exterior view), surrounded by the 2 Portuguese forts Jalali and Mirani. Visit of the Baït Al Zubair museum (housing a collection of objects representative of Omani culture). Muttrah and its souk, which has kept all its oriental atmosphere. Breakfast in a local restaurant. Free afternoon. Dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 3, Wednesday: Muscat Mosque – Al Hamra – Jebel Shams – Nizwa (approx. 340 km)
Breakfast, then visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a true architectural masterpiece. Continuation to the village of Al Hamra and its green palm grove, the Bait Al Safah house-museum, wherein the heart of the hamlet you will discover a traditional house, telling the story of Omani life. Continuation to Wadi Ghul, then climb to the Jebel Shams, to see the Grand Canyon of Oman. Lunch break at the campsite. Road to Nizwa, the capital of the interior, which has one of the oldest mosques in the world. Upon arrival, stroll through its souk renowned for its crafts: khanjars (curved daggers), pottery, basketwork … Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 4, Thursday: Nizwa -Jabrin – Bahla –Al Manzifat – Wahiba Sands (approx. 295 km)
Breakfast. Visit the Nizwa Fort, offering a view of the palm groves and the blue and gold dome of the mosque. Then Jabrin for a visit to his castle, famous for its painted ceilings, its walls decorated with arabesques, its stucco or wood moucharabiehs. Breakfast in a local restaurant. Road to Bahla, photo stop in front of its pre-Islamic fort. Departure for Al Manzifat and its impressive ruins. Departure for the Wahiba Sands desert, and its dunes over 100 m high. Arrive at Al Mintrib, where drivers and their 4 × 4s are waiting to drive you to camp through the desert. Dinner under the stars and overnight at the campsite.
Day 5, Friday: Wahiba Sands – Wadi Bani Khaled – Sur – Ras Al Jinz (approx. 230 km)
Early in the morning, sunrise over the dunes. Breakfast, then departure in 4 × 4, to reach Wadi Bani Khaled, in the Hajjar massif, one of the most impressive regions of the Sultanate of Oman with its highlands, its terraced cultures, and its wadis dotted with picturesque villages. Picnic lunch. Road to Sur, located by the sea. Visit of the shipyards, where the famous wooden dhows are made (traditional sailing ships of Arab origin)—dinner at your hotel. Then depart for the sanctuary of the turtles in Ras Al Jinz, where they come, at night, to lay their eggs in the sand. Return to Sur for the night at the hotel.
Day 6, Saturday: Khasab Musandam Governate

Day 7, Sunday: Discovery of Dubai
Breakfast. Departure for a day of discovery, which will start with old Dubai: photo stop at the Jumeirah Mosque, stroll through the alleys of Bastakya, a former 19th-century district. Visit the Dubai Museum. You will cross the Creek aboard local water taxis (abra), to arrive in the region of Deira and discover the souks (gold and spices). Breakfast in a local restaurant. Then visit Modern Dubai: continuation towards the modern district of “Downtown.” Visit of the Burj Khalifa (entrance included), the tallest building in the world with its 828 m. Stroll through the “Dubai Mall” to admire the impressive Aquarium (from the outside). Continue on the Jumeirah road to contemplate the Burj Al Arab hotel, a true emblem of the city, in the shape of a giant sail. Then drive to The Palm Island (giant palm-shaped island), to the Atlantis hotel, for a photo stop. Return by the monorail, which will allow you to have a panoramic view of the island, the coast, and the Dubai skyline.
In the evening, transfer for a romantic dinner aboard a dhow (traditional wooden boat) at “Dubai Marina.” Return to your hotel for the night.
Day 8, Monday: Dubai (4 × 4 safaris)
After breakfast, free morning (optional, visit the emirate of Sharjah, CHF 90.- per person, min. 2 people), free lunch. In the afternoon, departure for 4 × 4 safaris in the desert. Stop at the top of a dune, from where you can admire the sunset—barbecue evening with oriental dances, tea, and shisha (water pipe) in a Bedouin camp. Return to your hotel for the night.
Day 9, Tuesday: Dubai – Abu Dhabi – Dubai (approx. 250 km)
Breakfast, then departure for Abu Dhabi (capital of the Emirate of the same name and the Emirates). Visit of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the largest in the Emirates. Visit of Qasr Al Hosn (18th century), one of the historical emblems of Abu Dhabi. It is an opportunity to learn about the history, heritage, and traditions of Abu Dhabi. Breakfast in a local restaurant. Then you will walk along the Corniche, and you will pass the Emirates Palace, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Stop at Saadiyat Island for the visit of the Louvre Museum(duration approx. 1h30). Return to Dubai, for those who wish, your driver can drop you off in the Burj Khalifa district to attend the fountain show (return to your hotel will be on your own). Other participants will be returned to their hotel.
Day 10, Wednesday: Dubai – Geneva
After breakfast, transfer to the airport—flight to Geneva.
